I'm beyond disappointed in the formula that Guerlain created for their more recently released eyeshadow palettes; it is just so powdery, dusty, dry, and hard to use. I used it over primer, and it was still a total pain to apply and looked uneven, patchy, and faded. I felt like primer just made the mess wear longer, but it did little to make it look better, and I did try several types of primer.
